Chappan Bhog !

Yashoda used to feed Lord Krishna 8 times in a day.

When HE lifted the Govardhan mountain and held it for 7 days to save HIS people from the torrential rain, HE was without any food for these days.

So when HE kept it down after 7 days, Yashoda knew HE would be very hungry and hence she cooked all HIS food for 7 days at one time. Which means she cooked 8x7=56 meals for HIM.

This is in effect the concept of Chappan Bhog.
